Greetings beloved family of Common Ground,
My heart beats for Christ and His beloved bride. My hope and prayer is that we as a family would continue to go deep with God as we cry out to Him for His sustaining grace and power in our lives. Would you please beseech our Lord with me this week with this prayer?
Oh most gracious Lord and Father, You’re not surprised at the size of our church. You knew far in advance that many would move out of town or out of state and yet You sovereignly provided for another church to make use of Your building, and thus we praise You for Your sustaining power in our lives as we walk with You through this season of faith stretching and faith increasing! Oh Lord give to us a much greater sense of urgency for You in prayer.
Lord forgive us for not trusting You in supplying our every need. Forgive us Lord for allowing our circumstances to dictate our moods and attitudes; forgive us for letting the enemy rob our joy and bring discouragement in our hearts. Oh Lord we will forever need You and Your life-changing Gospel. Please allow for Your Gospel to move front and center in our lives and give to each one of us divine opportunities to present a clear message of Your grace to whomever You would choose to put in our path.
We praise You Father, Son and Holy Spirit for Your glorious redemptive plan in saving us from sin, Satan and eternal death. May we at Common Ground never forget Your Gospel! May we all stay the course for Your glory, Your Gospel and Your church!
